I had an interview with an engineering candidate and asked what is it that he can offer? His response was "I'm looking for a job." Tell me I said, what is it that you can do for my business with your educational background? He then responded "I can do whatever your company needs, I'm a fast learner."
Ok, I said go to my website and begin...he never followed through.
One interviewee was so bold as to ask me about a salary and benefits?? I told him my business compensation is based on what we can save our clients...no savings no compensation. That ended the interview.
Long story short, being educated to merely find a job is not only obsolete, but a failed career path...become problem solvers in society and you will never go lacking.
